March Meeting Highlights

The Fosse Scholarship is officially in place. The Fosse family will provide $500, and the chapter will match it, for any flight or maintenance student.

More big news! Bill Hunter reported that the chapter has been approved, by the EAA, to participate in the Ray Aviation Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will provide up to $10,000 for a student to obtain their private pilot’s license. Bill will be attending a webinar for more detail.

Dave Warner gave an excellent presentation on the rapidly growing Recreational Aviation Foundation. Their goal is to preserve, maintain and create airstrips for general aviation. There will be a large local event coming up in Bentonville, AR.

Next Meeting: Mike Fleming will be doing some hands-on composite materials demonstrations.
